Your Health Relies On Your Thoughts

Your thoughts are so important!  I can't stress that enough.  Everything we think has an affect on our bodies both mentally and physically.  This is why you may hear people talk about the effectiveness of affirmations, meditation, exercise, and the power of positive thinking on health.  It's real!  I feel very passionate about this.  Negativity has no room in our lives.  If we want to create an environment for health, we have to start with our thoughts. 
 
Here are some quotes that will help you ponder how important our thoughts actually are on our outcomes in life:
 
A man is but the product of his thoughts, what he thinks, he becomes.  ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Give it a try!  Say a few positive quotes and affirmations over and over throughout the day and your subconscious will act on them.  Meditation works as it quiets the chatter in our heads allowing us to move into balance and be able to listen to our intuition, not react to the stimulus around us.  Exercise helps us by improving the neurotransmitters in our brains, the "feel good" chemicals.   It helps release stress, allows you to focus and acheive mental clarity when you push yourself, increase your heart rate and sweat.  Sweating helps release impurities in our bodies which makes us feel better.  When we exercise routinely it actually helps us feel better, feel more confident, have a better attitude and self image.  Exercise makes you feel good and look good. 
 
Remember, your thoughts do count.  When you notice yourself having a negative thought or attitude, just say "cancel" and move on.  Let me know how this works for you.
